Retrieve Orders - The system cannot find the file specified

    Hi

I have tried to download orders this morning but when I click on the download button I get a pop up error that says 'The system cannot find the file specified'

Last night I did an export of orders from the results sections and overwrote the file orders.csv. I thought that this was just a file used for exporting orders as its the default when you click export. Could this be the porblem or something else?

Hmm, just check network settings and I get the message 'Unable to connect to the FTP server "***.com". The computer is disconnected from the network'.

Last night I ran adaware and norton and this detected a number of files and then deleted them, could there be any rouge file that has been pulled out?

    Thanks for any advise.

Probably a stupid suggestion, but your IE is not set at `working offline` is it?

      Hi George

What a ridiculus question!!!! Ok, rather sheepishly I confess yes it was.

Interestingly though, I use Firefox most of the time and I was connected there, hence I did not even check IE. Curious to know why one would work and the other would stop downloads.

      Thanks for your post.

        Hi Steven

When downloading Actinic uses the Internet Explorer HTTP protocol to download. Therefore if IE is set to work Offiline, then Actinic cannot use that protocol.

          Hi

Had the same problem today, glad i found this post

I detest being forced to use applications i do not like, most micorsoft products just slow my pc down so i avoid these like the plaque, remember XP SP2,

my question is will actinic move away from wanting to use IE protocols, i do not use IE so why mine should have changed all of a sudden im not sure. I now use firefox & thunderbird for all my stuff, less hassle, more features, less security risks. I have uninstalled IE but as with microsoft it never really go's away

          Cheers
          Darren
