We installed Catalog 6.01 in 2003 and updated to 6.14 in 2004. It's been running successfully since then, but now we're thinking of changing from collecting credit card payments immediately on order to pre-authorising and collecting the money when goods are shipped.
The payment gateway is Streamline (RBS).
Our question is, if we change from charging transaction immediately to pre-authorising, how are the payments collected? Can this be done through Actinic Catalog V6.14 or would we need to upgrade the software? If Catalog cannot do this, what method would the office admin have to use in order to collect the payments?
