    Receipt page printing width

2 customers have recently complained that the printable receipt page omits the last inch or so when printing out - I've verified on one local machine - all, I think, we're using IE.

can't figure out whether this an actinic issue or browser/printer/system issue

    anybody come across this before?

    thanks

What paper size is your printer set for? If it's letter, that would explain it - see if you can switch the printer default to A4.

thanks Bill, that one was of my initial thoughts but subsequently ruled out.

is there a variable in actorder04, or elsewhere, that may affect things?

      thanks, Si

Could you check your actinic.css file to see if one or more of the font sizes (actxxsmall, actxsmall, actsmall, actregular, etc) is/are set to fixed pixel values (especially actregular).

Act_order04 has a table width of 600 pixels constraining the address data and another of 570 constraining the bulk of the receipt, so it looks like there must be something pushing that out.

all font sizes are not fixed width - so the culprit lies elsewhere...

is there a simple way to access the receipt page as it would be shown after a transaction?

The receipt page is usually http://localhost/cgi-bin/os000001.pl where 'localhost' is replaced with your site name. I have attached a screen grab of a receipt page for you to check out.

            Kind regards,
