Importing a theme (ACD)

I have a ACD file which was created for me and I can not for the life of me find out how I import it into actinic!

What do I need to do?

Blind as a bat, I found it under Custom Themes.



I got the following error message when importing a theme:

FATAL ERRORS
The selected file does not contain a Theme group - it contains a Site group.

What do I need to do to fix this?

Hi,

Within Actinic go to File, Snapshot and then Import Site and just follow the instructions on screen.

if this is something you have never done before I would backup your existing site both by exporting a Snapshot and also backing up your site directory within windows explorer.

Just re-read your original e-mail. Please be aware the option I suggested would overwrite any products you currently have setup for your site.

Sorry but do not know why you are getting the error on importing the custom theme.

Can you contact whoever did the site for you?

Looking at this and you other thread I would suggest you have been sent a site ACD and not a theme as generated using Developer. Ask your designer for an actual theme template and not a site ACD as that is more appropriate to your needs
