Sorry to poke my nose in

but i believe didier said, he upgrade V5 to V7 and it worked ok, now he needs to transfer his copy of V7 to a new computer. He has installed V7 and then imported a V7 snapshot and the PSP it does not work.

Would it not just be easier to copy his site 1 folder from the old PC and over write the site 1 on the new PC

    Cheers
    Darren

To be honest, I would imagine the same problem would have happened, but also the encryption key would be different as well. I would still recommend in installing v5 then upgrade that to v7 to get the PSP across.

Ok it works. But it was not simple. I have install v5, import a snapshot and it didn't work. Hopefully I have found an old version on a PC on which we installed v5 first 2 years ago. Make a snapshot, import to v5, upgrade to v7 and copy the modified templates and it works.
Now if I need to change my pc within 1 year what will be the solution ? Is there a way to get the PSP information on the snapshot ? I have tried to enter my bank informations in the OCCUpgrade.ini and run PSP setup, but it doesn't take the information for my bank.
If I copy Site 1 from the old one to the new one, we have the same information on the both and it doesn't work : it means that there is PSP information in an other place, where ?
        Thanks for your help

          Hi there

If you do this, you are simply overwriting the changes within the 'OCCUpgrade.ini'. Normally, it is done by first installing the PSPSetup.exe, then changing the 'OCCUpgrade.ini', increase the version number on this file, then open Actinic. By increasing the version number, it will upgrade the database to take in what new information is in the file.

it means that there is PSP information in an other place, where ?
It may put them in the registry as well, when it talking about ClassID.

I would also advise you taking to the client/developer who created this plugin for you for the Bank and possibly ask them if they could create you a v7 one as well. This may make things easier for you.

Asking the developer who created this plugin for me to create a new one is quite impossible as it was a company which no longer exist.
I don't understand well the first part of the post (my english is limited) : as I have all the information to enter for my bank, I would like to find a way to enter somewhere these informations , so when I run PSP setup, it will upgrade the database and take in the new information. Is it possible ?

              Hi there

Did the original developer who created the plugin, create the PSPSetup as well. If they haven't, then the PSPSetup will not contain the information for your bank. So by you installing the PSPSetup, you are only installing the original PSP created for Actinic, like Worldpay. I'm not too sure on how your developer has created this plugin, and the process of what he had to do.

No the original developer who created the plugin, did not create the PSPSetup. He just enter information on the access database, so we can use the PSP as payment. It is why I would like to know if it is possible to create a PSP setup including my bank information, and how ?
                Thanks

It only possible by purchasing the PSPToolkit. This is generally how PSP company will integrated with Actinic. The PSPToolkit will cost £1000.00, which is the only reason why PSP themselves work with us. Also knowledge of perl and C++ is required. Actinic Sales will have more information on this.

I'm afraid without the help of the original developer, then there is no much you can do with getting the french bank into v7.

As it works now, it will not be a problem until I will have to change the computer again.
The only thing I remember is that when the original developer installed the site V5, we had this message message "Payment Service Provider failed to register properly - class ID({......})", and it was impossible to open View / Business settings / Configure method. He modified something in the database (but I don't know what ?) so we can enter the dialog box, and enter the bank informations.
If somebody on the forum know how to open the configure method box when we have the message, I will have the solution.
                      Thanks

Okay it is possible if you open the "ActinicCatalog.mdb" and look into the [OCCProvider] table. Here is a list of our PSP which are supported. Maybe your developer changed an item here. But I would not know what he would changed.

Hope this little information helps you.

I have found a solution. As my problem is to open View / Business settings / Configure method and it is impossible with my PSP, but possible with the other ones (Netbanx, Skypay, Worldpay etc), I have remark that they all have the same ClassID which was different from mine.
So just copy and paste the ClassID of one these banks and it allows me to open the "Configure method" and I can enter my informations.
                          Thanks for all

I'm getting an error the same as the original post.

Thanks to Jont, and reading post #4, I realise that I need to "rerun the PSPSetup.exe" but how do I do this?

Should this be downloaded from Actinic or is it on my original install disk?

                            TIA
