Not forwarding to Protx for payment

    Hi,

I have just gone live with Protx but when I place a test order I get to the screen: "You will now be automatically transferred to the Protx VSP secure server to process your credit card details with complete confidence. " but nothing happens it just sits there with no forwarding.

It worked fine in test mode but as soon as I switched to production mode it does not work.

The only difference I noticed is that in test mode I had to click the 'next' buton in production mode there is no 'next' button.

I have read the other post about this but I do have the onload statement in my body tag.

If anybody wants to have a look, I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

I've refreshed the site several times in case a piece of code had been missed, now on suffix 2 just in case. I've also put the Actinic encryption password in both the PROTX pl files in sites/site1/commonOCC and in OCCUpgrade/commonOCC just in case I was updating the wrong one

    Cheers

    Update

Reloaded v2.22 of the Protx scripts and problem still occurs.

Funnily enough it works using Opera as a browser but not IE - doesn't loook as good in Opera so I'll have to check out my HTML but at least it forwarded.
Somebody referred to Protx giving instructions as to how to reinstate the next button, does anyone have them as I can't find them on the protx site.

    Cheers

      David,

You get a comprehensive word document attached with the very first email you receive from PROTX, this will help you with the setup. This topic has been covered earlier too..

        Working, but ...

        Thanks for the steer.
I had read the document and put the onload statement in, but it doesn automatically redirect. I've reinstated the next button as described, but still can't work out why it doesn't work in the first place.

Is it a javascript setting with the browser, as it seems to work in Opera ?

        Cheers

Have you tried your site in FireFox? I think it is something to do with the script. In Firefox you have to scroll to the right to see the entire page, not that the page is broad, just that there is so much extra space on the left. It works fine in IE but does not automatically forward you until the next button is clicked. In Actinic check what you have in Design | Options | Shop defaults | against Bounce page Delay, this needs to be a minimum of 1 to enable to auto forward. If set to 0 you will remain on teh page till you hit the button.

          Kind regards,

Not forwarding at all in any browser

            Hi Guys

Read up on this and checked and doulbe checked my Onload and STILL cannot get the cart to forward to Protx.

It goes so well, then after 3 secs (the bounce delay) the little yellow triangle pops up and the page just hangs with the message..you will be auto forwarded etc.....

I have also worked through the protx solution doc (regarding the next button) without success.

I also get the yellow triangle all over my site after searching (mainly in IE)

            Anyone help assist me please?

Sorted, it was the live chat java script conflicting!!!

            Thanks
            Daren
