    Pete,

    Please place a test order using Nochex, Development have accessed the server using the FTP details provided but could not find much there. They have set the debug function at a higher level to see what happens when the authorisation call back comes in.

    Kind regards,

        Did it show anything?

        Caite- do you still have the problem too?

          Pete,

          Apologies for the delay in getting back to you on this.

          By checking the error.err file, we can see that the authorisation request did arrive a couple of times for the same order, which means, some other error has happened.

          These could be:
          - there is not enough space on disk for creating the .occ file
          - a content filter or firewall rule rejects the answer from the merchant server to Nochex server, after the authorisation request, so the Nochex server doesn't get the answer from merchant's server for this authorisation request, which makes Nochex serve to send it more than one time.

          Could you check this with the ISP?

          Looks like you downloaded the order after placing it because we could not see the order and authorisation files. Can you please place another test order, don't do any upload/web refresh before that, just follow the normal process and don't download the order once placed.

          This will allow development to see which file could not be created or which file is corrupt and then report back as to what is happening. Can you place an order and let me know immediately please.

          Kind regards,
          Bruce King

            Just made another test order.

            I checked with the host, there are rules created allow comunication from all the Nochex IPs.

                Were you able to see anything from the test?

                  Pete,

                  Are you trying to place these orders from pureskincare.co.uk or from ict.coursework.co.uk ?

                  Development have had a look on the server and in the error.err file it shows that the Authorisation call back record was repeated 16 times. Do you have 2 seperate Nochex accounts that you are using on pureskincare.co.uk and ict.coursework.co.uk? If not, then I would suggest using it on one site and then we can check to see what is causing this issue.

                  When checking from www.pureskincare.co.uk site, start a checkout and check the PSP bounce page for Nochex, the URLs are correct:
                  <INPUT TYPE=HIDDEN NAME="cancelurl"
                  VALUE="http://www.pureskincare.co.uk/cgi-bin/os000001.pl?SEQUENCE=3&ACTION
                  =%3cBack&REFPAGE=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2epureskincare%2eco%2euk%2facatalog%2fOn
                  line_Catalogue_Baby_10%2ehtml&">
                  <INPUT TYPE=HIDDEN NAME="responderurl"
                  VALUE="http://www.pureskincare.co.uk/cgi-bin/os000001.pl?PATH=%2e%2e%2faca
                  talog%2f&SEQUENCE=3&ACTION=AUTHORIZE_52&CARTID=195Z38Z97Z196A1155285223B28
                  867&ON=AR909810000653&TM=0&TO_EMAIL=care@pureskincare.co.uk&ACT_POSTPROCES
                  S=1&">
                  <INPUT TYPE=HIDDEN NAME="returnurl"
                  VALUE="http://www.pureskincare.co.uk/cgi-bin/os000001.pl?SEQUENCE=3&ACTION
                  =Finish&ORDERNUMBER=AR909810000653&REFPAGE=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2epureskincare
                  %2eco%2euk%2facatalog%2fOnline_Catalogue_Baby_10%2ehtml&">
                  From here the PSP bounce page is created correctly and then passed to the Nochex server.

                  Let me know which one to test and then we can get back to you. If you want www.pureskincare.co.uk to work then I will need the Network setting or the FTP details for that site.

                  Kind regards,

                    Can you please keep the testing to www.ict-coursework.co.uk That is where I have put the default site. What ever the fix is we can then implement.

                    AFAIU the authorisation call back from Nochex was repeated 16 times as it does not get a responce from the os.pl script. The same thing happens when I use their test script on a server without SSL support. As the script cant post a reply to the HTTPS site, the Nochex server keeps trying to connect.

                    When do you think this problem will get solved? Has it been solved for Caite?

                    I have checked that it is not a firewall issue with my host, and if I remember correctly Caite's host didnt have a firewall?

                    What else could it possibly be?

                    Pete

                      Thousands of years into the future, do you think that in some higher mega-wiki, will document a holy-war based on payment providers?

                      Thousands of paypal marines will storm the nochex outpost, killing thousands of innocent reps, in the callcenters of the church of creditcardtopia.

                      In response, paypal launches, in conjunction with worldpay, a massive nuclear assault, coupled with orbital ion cannon bombardment, the biggest slaughter mankind has ever seen. No payments were ever recieved from nockex after that.

                      Some people said that their server was captured by renegedes and was used to mount DDos attacks on emperor Gate's warp fortress, located in the microsoft expanse.

                      Linux users were unaffected, they use cash in the 38th century.

                        Do you have 2 seperate accounts or just one account with Nochex. If you want this to work then you need to remove nochex from either one of the sites and let us know which one to proceed with.

                              ROFL that cracks me up, do I really want to get this working?????

                              The www.ict-coursework.co.uk is the site to use. I have uploaded the default website so that it cant possibly be anything I have done that is causing the problems and that is why I have emailed the FTP details for that site to you.

                              The problem you are seeing is caused by the Nochex not getting a reply from www.ict-coursework.co.uk to the authorisation call back. Nochex tries several times as it does not get a responce from the os.pl script. As I said before; the same thing happens when I use their test script on a server without SSL support. As the script cant post a reply to the HTTPS site, the Nochex server keeps trying to connect.

                              Can I upload/downlaod from that site again? Or is the development team still looking at it?

                                You still have not answered a basic question that I have asked about three times now. Do you have 2 seperate accounts or just one account with Nochex?
