Right, just re-read the post and that does make sense (it's been a long evening of rehearsals!)
Actinic hosting settings from actinic and the change made at the registrar (rather than host)
You'd think the obvious step would be to call actinic to get it sorted

ha! you were all wrong - well Tracey was nearist.... !

We use the acatalog software (v9) and hosting, the domain name is hosted by the yanks, long story..... need to move it to the UK at some stage, any all help is most appreaciated

Already in contact with support... we keep on trying different things and the last one in a full MX & A settings, just thought that someone out there may have had the same issue.

On the link I potsed I noticed it listed "registrationtek.com" for the nameservers but thought we we were guessing at the hosting of the website, forgetting that the MX and A records would be related to the domain name registrar.

No, but i'll take a wild shot in the dark and say contact your host. Apologies if your thread went a little off track, you was asked for your host's name 3 times and didn't answer once, so boredom set in. Perhaps it is just registry lag, especially with you having it maintained in the US.

                  Thanks Jo,
See what you mean about the MX zones. I have deleted the doubled up record puckstop.com. 7200 IN MX 10 MAIL.PUCKSTOP.COM.puckstop.com.

As it was registrationtek.com that set the MX records for me, I supose it is them that I need to contact to sort out?

                  cheers
                  Dave

regtec just emailed me saying that it is a hosting issue, that it isn't set up correct at their end! - watch this space.....
