    Network setup shaded in?

    Hi,

i am having major problems trying to upload (i cant!) and i have been told to go in to advanced/network setup and check there. the problem is i cant as the network setup bit on advanced is shaded in?

does anyone have any ideas to why this is?

Click on the convert button, which should ask to confirm with switch to stand alone mode (instead of the host mode) - that will reveal them all.

Advanced | Network Setup - should be on the right hand side within the other buttons on that dialog

thanks for your help but i cannot click on network setup at all as it is shaded in and unclickable? i can only go in to advanced everything else is ok but the bottom "network setup" is as i stated.

          very very puzzling?!!

          do have any other suggestions?

Ok - whole thing is greyd out - thought you meant inputs within it were greyd out.

OK - Settings | Business Settings | Options Tab

You need to enable the Network Setup checkbox

I wonder if you are in test mode , rather then production mode as this also can cause network settings to be greyed out.

2 threads running for what looks like the same issues (something is major up).

So, did you try the suggestion we made earlier of closing it all down and rebooting the machine it is on?

How long have you had the software - do you have Cover with Actinic? They could assist you on the phone if you have support which would not cost you any more.

thats the thing i dont and i am currently having a new site built not actinic which is a relife for me as i have had trouble from day1 week 1!!

so i know its not worth paying for the suppost as its annual, do you have any suggestions?

I would recommend Actinic cover as they will be able to help out.

Its either that or a developer, who in the long run may cost you as much.
