Greetings,
I used to run my website at http://www.oilboilersdirect.com using a competitors package (shouldn't mention their name here but it rhymes with Beryl (sort of)). I've recently launched my new Actinic built site but if I search in Google by doing a 'site:http://www.oilboilersdirect.com' it still finds all my old pages in its' cache. Now that these pages are all dead I obviously get 404 errors if i click the links
Should I recreate these old references on my new site and point them to my new home page or is there an easier way. P.S. any comments on the site so far?

Yes the domain name was the same. It's not actually a big issue, it's just that for SEO purposes i don't want any potentially dead links stuck in Google's system while I wait for to finish 'boting my new site.
