Checkout bounces to last page viewed problem

    Hi Guys

Been trying to upload my site to a new server so have been changing my network settings.

Now gone back to my original settings - uploaded the site to my old server (website refresh) and now on the first page of the checkout, select country, when you press procede it bounces back to the last page viewed.

Any ideas what might be wrong.

    Cheers

Ian, yer site has overloaded my 1024 x 768 screen. Maybe an image thats a little on the wide side in there somewhere?

(Sorry I cannot help, just thought I'd mention it fella).

Hows business been since the major overhaul anyway? Did it make a significant difference?

i got the following 404 error,

        and

        A General Script Error Occurred

        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error: Error opening configuration file ../prompt.fil. No such file or directory
        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner.
on trying to change the quantity in the shopping basket.

the prompt.fil error suggests a site purge and refresh from the troubleshooting menu might be in order

Done a complete purge and refresh and still have the problem.

Cannot get passed the first page of the checkout without it bouncing back to the last page viewed.

Any ideas would be very helpful.

            Thanks

              Hi All

Any one any ideas what I should be looking at to solve this problem.

I have done a purge and refresh, I have restored an old snapshot and then done a purge and refresh.

After all this still showing the same problem - cannot get passed the first page of the checkout, it just bounces back to the last page viewed.

Can someone else have a look and see if it happening for them.

Any help would be great - been without a checkout for 24 hours now and loosing lots of orders.

              Cheers

Ian, lets me add an item, choose the country, then bounces back to the item.

                      Thanks George

Same for me - can't get passed the first page of the checkout without bouncing

Trouble is I have no idea what to look at to try to solve the problem.

                      Anyone???

At a guess (and it is a guess) your baseref seems wrong. The one in my checkout points to www.mysite.co.uk/acatalog/ yours seems to just point to www.mysite.co.uk/

Might be worth resetting the 'Default Base Ref' layout?
                        Cheers

                            Hi Dave

I run my site without the acatalog folder so thats why it points to mysite.com/

                            Cheers

Yep that would make sense then. Can't get into your site now (Apache default page appearing) but will have another look when I can.
