Hiya all
I have another general script error issue and am looking to bounce a few ideas round.
Our site at www.wonderlandparty.co.uk has been built from the ground up in house and is working fine for the majority of people visiting the site, however my Boss went to the site last night and got the
A General Script Error Occurred
Error: Your shopping cart has expired, orders must be completed within 3 hours or they will be automatically cancelled.
Having put test orders through on 6 machines, and on 3 different browsers I cannot recreate this error.
Reading back through the forum I can see that changing the script number may help, but I don't think this is the issue to be honest, plus that would involve changing all of the template pages across the site and doing a full site upload again.
The second thing I found was to do with session files. I can purge the session files, but will this remove the issue on the 1 machine it appears on, or will it pop up again in the future, also, is purging the session files once or twice a week a good housekeeping practice?
Any thoughts you guys and gals have regarding this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jason
