    Customers unable to adjust quantities in cart

    Hello there!

    We are getting plenty of customers reporting that they are unable to adjust the quantities of items ordered in their cart, including to zero - so if they change their mind, and enter another item, they are unable to remove the previous one.

    I've searched for other people reporting the same problem, and I've already added the suggested "idiot's guide to removing from cart" at the top of the page, but the problem persists and (judging by phone calls) is getting more frequent.

    As far as I can tell from searching, this isn't a problem that other people have reported, and I can't replicate it myself. Could any kind soul take a look at http://www.oxford-therapy-supplies.co.uk/acatalog/ (I know, it needs much work) and see if we have done something daft?

          I have looked at your cart page and there is no 'remove' or 'update' boxes, I am using Internet Explorer 7.

          I have had a similar problems with customers calling about wrong quantities in the cart and how to correct them, I have just added 'Quantity in Shopping Cart' through Design: Options: Shop Defaults: and I am hoping that this will solve the problems.

            The "remove" and "update" options showed fine here in Firefox, which is why I was able to test it.
            Perhaps it's an IE7 problem (I don't have IE7 on my system or I would check it for you)

            (edited to say, I checked it in IE6 and all worked and appeared fine)

              Ah HA... thanks for looking, are we on to something here? Not only the IE7 issue, but also, in Design: Options: Shop Defaults: I didn't have the option to select 'Quantity in Shopping Cart' because everything in the top half of "Shopping Mode" was greyed out - 'Quantity on Confirmation Page' selected.

              So I've removed "request location early" and changed to 'Quantity in Shopping Cart'. Let's see if that makes things better or worse...
