errors from a user prospective

Hi

I have a query regarding errors generated by the live site.


If a user (shopper) encounters an error whilst trying to purchase a product (i.e malfunctioning cgi script etc.) and cannot complete the process, is it possible with Actinic to generate a message to my email account so I am informed quickly?

Hi Kevin

There isn't this functionality in the software at the moment, although it's a good idea so I'll include it on the wishlist. You can check the online error log (/acatalog/error.err) throughout the day as this will show all the script errors experienced by shoppers.
