NoChex Integration - What URLs to use

    Hi Darren,

    I have asked our development to investigate this issue.

    The Actinic nochex integration and it is working as designed.
    There should be some other setting problem at nochex merchant interface,
    as we cannot log into your interface we cannot see what is wrong with it.

    Please can you contact Nochex and ask them to check your interface to indentify the problem.

    Please let me know the result of this.

      Perhaps I have selected the wrong choice for one of the tick boxes at the bottom of the page.

        The reply I have received from NoChex Customer Services is:


        We have tried processing from your site

        The cancel URL is set to:
        http://www.golfteewarehouse.co.uk/cg...ENCE=3&ACTION=
        It looks like problem is with the ACTION method in the Querystring Currently it is ACTION= I think the Character "<" is causing the problem
        Please change this link to look like the link below

        I believe they have missed part of the first URL after the ACTION= is the following:
        <Back&REFPAGE=http://www.golfteewarehouse.co.uk/acatalog/Secure_Payments.html&

        I believe the cancel URL that is being created by Actinic has a "<" character that should not be present.
        When I get the error message page I can get to the correct page by manually deleting the "<" in the address bar.

          Anybody have an idea how I can remove the "<" character from the return URL, I assume it is built into the actinic integration of NoChex.

            I seem to be getting exactly the same problem as arbshark on my website. I added Nochex yesterday and was happy it's all working. I made a test purchase which was fine but did not test 'Cancel' button and only done it this morning after reading this thread. The problem seems to be '<' character and instead being taken to the last page I am getting this message:

            A General Script Error Occurred

            --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
            Error: Input contains invalid characters.

              Our development team have taken a second look at this issue.

              The character '<' is HTML encoded, so it can't cause such problem. It must be some other thing else on Nochex side, possibly a problem on parsing
              parameters.

              Please can you ask Nochex to take another look into this issue.

                  One week later and the reply from NoChex is:

                  Please remove the %3c from the cancelurl parameter being passed into our page. It should work fine then.
                  I am using version: 7.0.7.0.0.0.HCFA
                  I seem to be going around in circles and never getting closer to a solution.
                  It is not a major problem but a little annoying.
                  Can anybody else who uses NoChex confirm if they have a working Cancel Button on the nochex page.

                    Hi Darren,

                    Bit of a long shot but you could try removing the "<" from the Actinic back button.

                    Go to Design | Text - Click Go to and enter a phase of -1 and ID of 503. Change the prompt to read just "Back".

                    Update the site.

                          No you won't. As you are essentially changing an Actinic parameter, Actinic will be able to work with whatever you change that text value to. You could change it to 'Elephant' and it will still work.
