    PROTX Payment Error Problems

    Hi,

    I have read bruce's posts about changing the script in version 8 but can anyone tell me if this works for actinic 7 developer please.
    Can anyone suggest anything to help?

      Hi Bruce,

      I am still having problems here.

      I am using actinic v7 05.000 FJBA, have updated the psps, changed the script from protocol 2.20 to 2.22 and added your script and i still get the error below.
      What is happening?

          Yes on several occasions Bruce.
          Ive given up now and signed up with SECPAY.
          I am using the actinic ssl for the meantime.

                lets try and dilute it further for you...

                1 Is this error happening on ALL cards (we are aware of a 3d secure issue dated 2 weeks ago that is still live)

                2 Have you managed to replicate this in TEST MODE on protx

                3 Are all affected orders bouncing into PENDING?

                  Dear Wayne,

                  Thank you for your email.

                  Since the update on the 1st August 2007 there has not been any change within the Protocol. The Major fact of the upgrade in August was to make the system completely PCI compliant. This meant that the system had to become strict to what is past to Protx within the Post. Before the update the old system allowed anything to be passed and this would work. But due to the PCI audit this needed to be made strict and just allow what is required to be passed. If the shopping carts followed the Protocol Guide they would have no problem but most shopping carts didn't that's why there is problems.

                  Unfortunatley this is a Shopping Cart Software error and NOT a Protx error. If you call Actinic they will be able to provide you help with your Shopping Cart.

                    Hi,

                    Alas, this wasnt a problem that was previously fixed BUT they are looking at it right now - I just went over to visit development and they are working through the Actinic code so I'll keep you posted.
