Integrating Actinic with V12 Finance Company

    Hello All.
Does anyone know a reliable company who would be able to assist my company in coding the integration for the V12 (finance company) psp so we can accept on-line finance applications on our web-site??

We have had this done before when using able2buy before they went bust and it worked very well, but last time we paid Astute Merchants to code it who no longer offer the service.

Oh, buy the way - its for Actinic V7 Multi User

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    James

Seriously forget the idea, V7 will be old unsupported software in the not too distant future. Choose an integrated PSP or choose a different package IMO.

As Lee says V7 will be dead in the water soon so upgrade to V8 and then get integrated if you need to

        Thanks Guys

        Thanks Guys.

I have purchased version 8 of Actinic, and have been worried about upgrading it because I inherited the site with some pretty naff coding as the layout template.

Version 8 would probably cause a load of problems wouldnt it

The site I am working on overhauling is www.topgear.co.uk

Can you see if I will run into complications by upgrading to V8 on this site??

Do I need to dump those templates all together???

        Thanks again guys

        James

I'll stick my neck out and say that site will be absolutely trashed on upgrade. But it has to be done.

                  Oo-er!!

Yeah, agreed. I thought this would be the case.
I have said it needs to be done, just worried about SEO and position as we are pretty high on google etc.
I know most of that is organic using the pages in actinic so I hope it does not affect the site too much.
You have all been very helpful so I will let you know how I get on and probably need further assistance at some point.
                  Thanks again

SEO won't be touched with upgrading, just the layout and design you will lose. Not entirely true actually, your site will achieve better SEO as V8 is coded better.

This has been proven on many Actinic sites so its a no brainer to get upgraded asp
