    I spent ages trying to word my reply in the right way, but obviously got it wrong, I should have put a smiley or something in it. I didn't think that you were being rude at all, just wanted to point out the cheaper solution - I used to sell those products individually but there are 9 products in that package all together and nobody had a clue what it was all about so I packaged them up but just lately I have seen quite a few postings on here that show that it is not clear that you can buy the components separately. Mind you the website it being redesigned again at the moment so maybe it will be clearer after that.

        I just wanted to return to this thread to correct a misconception that appears to have arisen earlier.

        Essentially, the order confirmation email is sent on completing the order details in actinic. It does not depend on the customer returning to the receipt page.

        I know this because I always get the confirmation email before the payment email and whenever I put an order through myself online, the order confirmation email arrives while I'm still on the PSP page. i.e. before I get to the receipt page.

        At a guess I would say the problem you're seeing is probably down an overloaded mail server on your host.

            No, I use secpay. I can't believe though that Actinic would send the confirmation email out at different times for different PSPs.

              After a customer has entered all there card details on te secure world pay site it returns a ticket back to actinic. If the customer doesnt go back to the site after this then the ticket isnt sent... Its a known issue confirmed by worldpay

                OK. I've re-read the thread and Tracy does say it isn't sent until the payment ticket is received.

                I have to admit though that I'm pretty sure I've seen receipt emails from test orders before payment was completed. I'll have to go and test this.

                  I just tried it on my site and can confirm that I was wrong. The order receipt emails appear not to be sent before the payment confirmation is sent back to Actinic.

                  I could have sworn that I'd seen this happen in the past. Sorry.

                      After having the same problem of order receipts not being sent out if the customer does not return to my site from worldpay, I searched worldpays support pages and found the following page:

                      Now this would still require the customer to click on a link to complete an order, but I've added an onLoad javascript in resultY.html and resultC.html that opens a new window automatically with the <wpdisplay item=C_receiptURL> link in it.

                      It seems to be working so far.

                            Is there any reason you couldn't use a META refresh tag to automatically forward after say 10 seconds back to your store? Do Worldpay allow this? I was just thinking that if people have pop up killers installed they may well suppress a new window loaded from a javascript body command.

                              Good point.

                              I've just tested this and it seems to work fine. Customers could still close the window before the refresh though so I've decided to add both the refresh (5 seconds) and the pop up.

                              Even though two windows with receipts are displayed, the receipt email is still only sent out once. Which is good

                              I've replaced the above files in my last post to include both pop up and refresh.
