Just contact sales to order your free upgrade, although we don't recommend that you do this until the first maintenance release, which we expect out in around 3 weeks time.

So why release 7.00 then 7.01 (or whatever) a few weeks later? Why not wait the extra time and release the one package. Sounds illogical, or is it just a marketing ploy?

Cunning marketing ploys are not really our style Bob.

We're selling and shipping v7.0.0 now, and we have sorted out upgrades for people who really need v7 now.

The reason that we recommend existing customers to wait for 7.0.1 is that if your shop is fully live and taking orders, we think it is better to hold fire on upgrading so that if any problems are found in the first few weeks of release, they won't affect your current live business.

We are not expecting any serious problems, nor have we found any yet, but based on previous experience this is the best way to go.
