Weight a minute, wot's going on?!!!

Have just noticed a really wierd thing going on with my site:

We use weight to calculate shipping charges

Although each item is set up properly with a correct weight, the site seems to be calculating a bizzare weight and consequently a spurious shipping charge:

    Try going to:
    http://www.gearshift.co.uk/acatalog/Base.html
and order 2 pairs of item #WENS3 in either gender and any size Small/10

This item is set up with a weight of 0.200kg, making an order total of 0.400kg yet the resulting order calculates at 0.900kg, with shipping charges to match! (more than twice the correct amount!)

Basically Actinic seems to be ignoring the weights entered and using something else..

    Anyone has similar problems?

    Doh!

    Wot a fool!

There was no weight entered for the "parent" product used to select a child product via a component.

Actinic was putting a default weight of 250g in for these "parent" lines, although they do not appear in the eventual order.

Easily solved by overwriting the default weight to 0.001kg etc (Actinic won't allow a default of 0.00) the odd gram here or there is not important though.

Thanks if you were pondering this though.

    Regards

    Steve
