Inserting a fragment

Actinic works essentially from 2 areas:

1. content
2. layouts

The content is the actual stuff you want to see on the page, the text you enter, products, fragments, brochure pages etc.

The content is arranged and displayed via the layouts.. of which there are hundreds.. Actinic compiles the data with the layouts to provide the page you see.

If you add text "blah blah blah" to a product or a fragment (under the content tab) it will only appear once on the site.

If you add the text "more more more" to a layout under the design tab it will appear every time that layout is used.. if placed into the outer layout it will appear once. If you add it to a product layout it will appear as many times on a page as you have products .. 10 products = 10 appearances of "more more more"

Surely with an instruction like that, it is not hard to start in the right place?
An inability to do that has nothing to do with being an actinic newbie whatsoever.

A clear case of running round like a headless chicken and insulting a person or two who has tried to help, instead of sitting down with a drink for an hour or two, to RTFM.

Looks like you might be created a fragment but actually want to create a new brochure page. What exactly do you want to do, add some text to a page that you already have or make a whole new page? If it's the latter you need to create a brochure page. Either way, if you create the fragment or new page, Actinic will add it to the website automatically when you upload.
