Is it possible to corrupt Actnic so it runs slow

Not really - its usually a hosting problem in cases like this IME unless you have been playing with checkout layouts? -
It seems to be working now - but your paypal pro is going to what looks like a personal paypal account which is not correct also you are downloading card details which is as mentioned earlier not allowedComment

Possibly they did lie - I've asked again so hopefully they'll check. The old shopping cart is there still so I can run that without losing money. It's fairly basic but seems to do the job. But does seem a little slower than normal when downloading pages/images.
The card details are processed by paypal hence the SSL I don't download them. This is what I was told I could do, the instruction on here etc.
I'm going to try and upload it on a different website to see if that improvesComment

Well.... it seems a lot better today but still slow using view cart and checkout. The host says they are checking it and seeing pages in around 5 seconds, I'm seeing these in 20-30, so a minute to go from product page to checkout. As you say going to Cart or Checkout takes an age - in fact I cancelled the request. Other pages seem normal.Comment

Thanks for checking...How's Reading? I got out a few years ago.
They are adamant that they can check via remote computers and the page times are about 5 seconds. And asked them to confirm that the service I've got is adaquete for Actinic.
If it works ok for them then it can't be anything i've done, intentianlly or otherwise, butthat doesn't really help the rest of us.Comment

They were checking on Firefox. When they check on IE there is a script error. Now how do I find it and fix it.Comment
