Got exactly the same issue with Paypal.
Also, the order confirmation emails don't go through to the customers, we receive one but they don't, I have to send them manually.

Do you actually get the actinic order email or the paypal email.

I see that there is a section called 'Website Payment Preferences' my auto return is switched off?
