          excuse my ignorance.
Do you mean select home in the content tree and addidng the data you provided in the design screen.
Not to sure how I tell if this goes into the template.
          Thanks.

You need to start reading and learning I'm afraid, leaning on the forum is fine, standing on its head is taking the mic. If you don't understand what the above is saying, then leave things as they are, you have far more important areas to work on and it works fine without this.

              Cheers.
Unfortunately I haven't got time to sit down and learn how to program from the ground up.
I did buy loads oof books and start but found it impossible with running the shop etc.
I don't like having to keep asking on here but it is my oly help as the AUG is designed for people with an idea of what block if means and how it affect things which I am not one.
I will as suggested leave all as is due to it at least working.
              Thanks again for the help.

You need to be honest and straight with yourself Mark. You have been fumbling around on the forum for quite some time and clearly haven't got what it takes on the design or the actinic side. That's fine we are all good and bad at things, I'm useless at tuning a nitro car for example, so I would contact someone like yourself to do that for me.

Put your site up for review, see what people actually think of it and have your eyes opened. The road you are currently travelling down is the all work and no play route and you really need to take a look at things in this area. The web is the key to the future of your business (you must already know this), I'm afraid to say, yours is the worst in the sector I've seen and is getting left behind.

PS - I'm not touting for work as I could never do your site, even if you wanted me to, due to a conflict of interests. Seriously though, get the bloody thing sorted out by a professional, best couple of grand you will have spent in the past 5 years - guaranteed!

couple of grand I haven't got.
Taken on board but not much I can do about it.
                  Cheers.

That's a real shame and a situation a lot of sites are in i'm afraid. As a designer i'm never quite sure whether that is a real lack of funds or a genuine lack of understanding on how much money a successful website can take nowadays. In your industry it is not that difficult to have a website turning over £150-250k per year, if yours is nowhere near that, you can see why it is the best couple of grand you can spend.

I know for a fact in your industry, there are at least 3 websites turning over in excess of £1m online. That's a lot of money on someone else's table, but you gotta take the leap of faith and go try and get some of it.

                    Anyway, best of luck.
