    Streamline

Hi, we have just signed up for Streamline and need to know how to integrate this as a PSP in Actinic Business. Any info gratefully received...

      Do you mean NatWest Streamline?
      Streamline aren't a PSP, they're a merchant account provider.
You need to apply for something like Protx, Actinic Payments or one of the other wealth of PSPs that are compatible with Actinic (full list on Actinic website, I should imagine) and set this up in Actinic.
The PSP takes the money from your customer and and passes it through to your merchant account provider, Streamline, in this case.

(by the way, there is a payment services forum where this ought to have been posted)

Protx rates IMO are very competitive. Though with the new features in 9.0.4 combined with the MOTO form/payment integration with Actinic Payments, if you anticipate doing less than 350 transactions through your site per month, Actinic Payments is definitely the way to go. I'm waiting for 9.0.4 before I take the leap.

Rich, many thanks for that we are looking at joining FSB hopefully for all the right reasons. Free banking being one...

Steve i use coop free banking and streamline with AP's, was using protx until the other day when i cancelled.

AP has it's issue the reporting being a real PITA so dont rely non these as the new offline ones dont alwasy work either. But the plus side is the moto and additional payments when a customer adds to order are great features

Dont forget Sage brought Protx so if you use sage then protx will most likely be better intergrated in the future, so worth considering

We joined the FSB and use the free banking, Streamline and Protx.

Apart from paying cheques via the post office can be a PITA everything else is fine.

I'm in the same process but streamline sold me netbanx as a PSP which I've just dumped - not what i'd call compatable so I'll go with Actinic payments and just leave steamline to sort the merchant numbers.
