No Card Details Showing

I've just set up Actinic Payments - wonderfully simple compared with the harrowing time I had setting up SagePay, but I have a problem.

I've placed a test order on the web site and that went through fine. I now want to try adding an item and charging for it.

Adding the item is straight forward but when I come to charge for it there is no sign of the partial card details so I can't click to take the additional payment from that card. How do I get that to show up?

Are you trying to add an item to an order that payment has already been taken through Actinic Payments.

If so add the new item, on the 'Progress and Payments' tab the statuis should change to 'Partial Payment Received' and an outstanding balance should show. The 'Pay' button shoudl now be active (positoned 3/4 down the page 4th button across), click here and you should have an option to pay using the same card, click here and payment will be taken.

The above is based on V9, if you are using v10 things may have changed slightly.
If AP is in pre-authorise mode the process will differ slightly.

yes, i placed my test order online (and I am using v9).
Now I've gone into the back end and added an extra item and the system is showing I owe £47.46 which is correct.

On the Payment screen the card isn't showing. I'm attaching a screengrab so you can.

I am not sure why the Pay button is not active.
Can you post a screen grab after you click 'View Payments' in case that gives a clue to the problem.

I see that one line has been cancelled, perhaps this is related to the problem in some way.
Do you take payment immediately or use the Pre-Auth mode?

I voided the frst order and did another order (as I'd played around with the first order trying to get it to work without success), so i thought I'd start with a clean slate. Here's the two screen grabs.

No this is not necessary.

What version of V9 are you using, as I believe the facility may not have been available on the earlier versions, but is definitely available in v9.0.5.

Do you have MOTO set up? Without a MOTO payments set up you won't be able to add to the order this way.

In answer to your other question no the customers doesn't have to save details for it to work. AP does it all.

I was on 9.0.3 but I have now upgraded to 9.0.5 and it hasn't made any difference.

I do have MOTO set up separately. I've tried placing an order in the backend and choosing the MOTO payment and it took me to the Actinic Payments screen so I guess that is working, although i didn't take a payment.

Do you charge cards immediately or use Pre-Auth.

Have you tried a completely new payment since upgrading to V9.0.5 rather than playing with the payment you made before the upgrade.

I charge transactions immediately.

Placed another order now i've upgraded to 9.0.5 but it's still the same.

I have run out of ideas and suggestions, might be something for Actinic Support to look at.

Could you show screengrabs of the Line Items and Totals tabs please.

Also, the card details will never show. You don't get to see them.

but you do get to see some of the card details with Actinic payments so you can identify that it is the right card to use again etc. Actinic videos clearly show this

No, within Actinic when you click 'Pay' it will ask if you wish to use the same card or to use a new card, but no card number will be given.

If you log into Actinic Payments online you can see the last 4 or 6 digits of the card number.

Do you have a link to the Actinic video you are talking about.
