New SD payments requirements

Anyone else got the email from SD regarding the new changes to SD payments?
Essentially its more geared like PayPal ecommerce platform to work properly with 18.1, which from other posts on here is quite concerning.
I hope the payments issues with 18.1 and PayPal can be absolutely fixed beforehand.
I am fearful of both payment options soon requiring 18.1.
Taking and processing payments is clearly the most important aspect of any ecommerce platform.

Having had the issues of losing the ability to take payments on 2 of my (less busy) sites after the last upgrade. I won’t be at the front of the queue for this upgrade, as our busiest site with 90% of our turnover uses Sellerdeck Payments.

That's my fear, both payment options are imminently needing upgrading tied in with the 18.1 version upgrade. These processes need 100% testing and simple support backed implementation to avoid potential big revenue losses.

Hanging to dear life on Paypal Express and SD Payments (NMI)...
...yes 100% tested please... I still rememeber when Paypal partial refunds were refunded as full refunds - problem was there for a long time...

Anyone else noticed customers saying the SD payments page is freezing, had three with the same issue in the last few days....

I've had no customers reported this problem to us... just sometimes the redirect to customer's bank security failing now and again.

There will be an email sent out to all customers later this week, but I wanted to give you immediate visibility of this.
