Hi
I have just uploaded my first Actinic site and have encountered two errors.
1. When uploading the site files I got the following error with the Act_ContactUs.html file:
UNUSED VARIABLES
Warning: Some of the configuration variables were not found in the HTML templates. If you modified these templates, make sure the results are what you want. If you have not modified the templates, the files are probably corrupt. Try restoring them from a backup or contact your Actinic reseller or Actinic Support as appropriate.
When I click on the "Contact Us" button at the top it juts gives a blank email form without our email address filled in. I have checked and our email address is in the configuration. There appear to be missing variables such as the Subject line, header, email address etc I really don't know what to do to correct this.
2. This may be related to the above. I have been unable to enter our SMTP information. It says it is not valid. I have tried a couple of different SMTP configurations for two email addresses (checking carefully for the specification from my email software) I have and neither work. In the end I had to abandon the option of having orders emailed to myself and customers. Any answers?
I would appreciate any help you can give to either problem.
Many thanks
