      If I go to:

      https://www.euroschools.co.uk/index.html

You are welcomed with a warning stating that:

This Certificate is only valid for *.site5.com
Does that make any sense to you?

            It is ticked

I have never altered this setting as my provider did it all for me

            With regards to *.site.com
I noticed that but have no idea what that means as when you click on the twarte certificate and all is ok and relates to the correct company

none of the details in the network setup have been altered in the last several months

is there any reason why this is not working now

I can find nothing to suggest that the certificate relates to euroschools at all.

                If you proceed to:

                https://www.euroschools.co.uk/

and ignore the security warnings you eventually get taken through to the index page, which is just a default cpanel.net apache holding page.

Despite all of this I went through the checkout procedure and was never taken to secure pages whilst entering any address details and I was then offered PayPal as the payment method.

Also you site is not using SSL - the bounce when you checkout does not use SSL, as i said take the tick out and upload.

Why do you need SSL for customer details? (tell me your not collecting credit card details)

This means that the ssl cert is issued to the server, not you. If you require your own SSL then you need your own IP address, if you wish to use the servers ip address (shared server) then this would be the shared ssl and you network settings need to be completely different. Does your host supply a shared ssl?

                              Please listen to me

SSL is not on - you site is not using SSL

take the tick out of the box, get your site working, then speak to your host about your ssl certificate. You dont have one

                                Just unticked the box

and had the following message come up

An FTP error occurred. Error: The password was not allowed

All I did was untick the box and apply
