Has anyone uploaded an Actinic store to Netcetera's Commerce Package hosting?
I'm getting the following error:
"An error ocurred while merging files on the remote site. The web site index has been corrupted. Copy ./acatalog/fulltext.fil to ./acatalog/oldtext.fil failed. Permission denied."
This occurs whether I'm doing a Site Update or a Refresh.
I have double-checked all settings and they are exactly the same as Netcetera's v4 example, apart from the SMTP, for which they'd provided the wrong setting. The example can be seen at http://help.inetc.net/actinic/
I contacted their support and the reply was:
"Have you inadvertently reuploaded the file manually? Perl scripts etc are very sensitive to being uploaded in binary. This will most likely be a text based file in which case an ASCII transfer needs to take place. To resolve this you will need to revert this file from a backup on your local machine."
I have re-upoaded fulltext.fil, in ASCII format, and it makes no difference - can anyone help?
TIA
Malcolm
