It looks like our site needs some work on our .htaccess file as we are having some canonicalization issues. I see some suggestions on the forum but I want to know if anyone has something better than this or will it do the trick?
I'm currently helping a client with SEO for their actinic website.
I want to change a lot of the urls they have in place to make them more search engine friendly, and obviously I will need to 301 all the old ones to the new locations.
I have just shifted my actinic catalogue from the a plesk server to 1and1 linux business package but when i tried to run cgi-bin/ss000001.pl?SECTIONID=shop.html&NOLOGIN=1 , it came with an error, i created the cgi-bin directory manually and acatalogue dir manually as well.
We're doing work on behalf of someone who uses Actinic v9, and apparently his "contact us" form has never worked. Turns out the information entered was incorrect (no surprise).
However, we've now entered server, username and password information that is usable...
