Try going to the 'support>latest patches' and the LHS navigation and menu falls to pieces.

The nav doesn't working when the nav item wraps and you click on the wrapped part. Is it beaacuse the 'active' style is too small? That nav really has to go.

Compared to the VW Beetle of a South African site http://www.actinic.co.za/, the UK version is a porche.

Thanks for your comments on the new design - please keep 'em coming.

There is a bug in Internet Explorer which required a bit of code to fix it, but for some reason it doesn't always kick in correctly the first time you view the page. The result is that the style doesn't render correctly in the flyout menus. Refresh usually fixes this. If anyone can shed any light on this or suggest a way of fixing it, I will be forever in your debt...

Actually there are only two levels in the new home page, which believe it or not is about three fewer than in the old one. Other pages have more. I will gradually reduce this, but a changeover to a completely css-based design would have been more work than we have the bandwidth for ATM.

I have changed that link to open a new window. I'm not sure if that will be less irritating, though, or just irritating in a different way...

The nav menu being unreadable - this is an issue because it is 'transparent' - it's the same in FF and IE7. In most cases it is very hard to read.

You need to do the same with the KB link as well

this new site is completely bloody awful.

jont was right, the tables are out of control. as is the clunky navigation.

its crap-tacular in the width department, and also in the random template changes department.

                        click shop.

                        it changes layout.

we wont even go into browser compatibility and w3c compliance.

back to the drawing board actinic.

i'll redesign it for you. want something zingy with php, ajax, flash and scriptalicious?

we'll call it a trade, website for v8 features.

All of what is in the site is perfectly achieveable in V8 I just dont understand why they dont use it It would a good marketing plan.

Most other ecommerce software solutions use thier own product and Ive seen one taking a pop at Actinic about not using its own software.

Come on Bruce - V8 conversion would be a couple of hours for you

i didn't think actinic managed the site ie it was with an outside design co.

Therefore not so much time being an issue as cash

Your right but its not a hard design to do Im sure you would agree - a days work at most to get it into V8?
