Upload Time Wasters

Just sat awaiting the trial upload of a very poorly v9 site which has taken 90 mins to check and start uploading so I am on the spare machine passing time on the forum.

Just wondered what everyone else does while awaiting monster v9 uploads?

Why do you wait for it, why not just leave it to run overnight?

Sod that - I have given blood and tears for the past 4 hours so i am bloody well going to enjoy seeing the "file merge ok" appear at the end of it

LOL, i sense some irony on its way, you are gonna get the diffsum check error and be asked to refresh it, PMSL. Love the way you always get that one, 3 seconds before it ends - yeah thanks, cheers, owe you one etc....

The file merge ok is my comfort blanket on this one .. once I see that appear I can start on the site in ernest again (although it is on the 4th progress bar reset now so may be a long night)

LOL, i can hear my external drives firing up, must be backup processes kicking in, so i will bid you goodnight young man. Actuallly i need another external hard drive, was it you that recommended one from DABS?

It was the Western Digital My Book .. the 500GB is particularly good value at the moment.
