We've been using ClearAccept now for 4+ months and it is working well.

It is costing more than our previous SD Payments by Opayo with a merchant services account as we have a high number of small value transactions and those 20Ps + VAT soon add up.

I had to request some changes to bring ClearAccept into line with our previous merchant services account:
    1. To invoice and charge for transaction fees monthly instead of per transaction - I believe this can be requested when an account is first set up
    2. To request an improvement in transaction clearance time from T+3 to T+1 next day bar weekends into our bank account
    3. It is not currently possible to make an adjustment that increases the value of an existing order without implementing a convoluted work around but we do not have a need to do this often and we can get round this if a customer wants to exchange for a higher priced product by asking them to place a new order for the higher price product and refunding the amount paid on the original order for the exchange product.
It is also possible to invoice customers with PayPal accounts by agreement simply and conveniently outside of ClearAccept

      Hi All,

      Thank you for your feedback.

I'd like to invite you to an AMA on Wednesday 11th October 9:30.

This will be by invite, so if you are able to attend, please send me an email request to josh.barling@sellerdeck.com and I'll send you the invite.

If you've ever worked with me you'll know that I'm very transparent and open to dialog regardless of the subject.

It would be great to understand your perspective in a two way conversation while also giving more context on Sellerdeck's views.

      Thanks, Josh.

        Hi Josh,
Your reply is definitely appreciated thank you.
May I just add the fact we are here moaning is actually positive!
We are loyal customers or we'd have gone already.
Add up the years of custom for those posting in this thread.
Decisions sellerdeck make really do affect our daily working lives.
We'd all be grateful it if you take on board our comments.

Will this be recorded, or published? as I will be in the Gatwick departure lounge at this time.
                    Regards

Another session would be good Josh. I can't make this one but it would be good to engage with Sellerdeck a bit more.

I quite liked the Sellerdeck Conferences back in the day. They were a great way to keep up with what was happening and get an idea of the direction everything was going in the future.

I remember going to "sellerdeck towers" in Surrey (in my thirties lol) and it was a fantastic day and great sandwiches!
it was a very valuable experience.
                          I guess 2005 ish.
I worked for a large importer then and we had I think started on V7 or V8.
When I started my business in 2009 it was a logical choice to go with the then Actinic software.

I've accepted the invite and look forward to it. I have a few things on my mind so I might send you a heads up on the main things.
