Line Items order

I recently upgraded to V11 and am finding it very frustrating that the order of the products in the Line Items tab changes itself.

We always put the products through our till in the order in which they're on the packing list so that we can easily double-check to see where the prices are different if it doesn't add up to the right amount on the till.

The order arrives (with the products listed as they were ordered by the customer) and I print the packing list, then, when I open it, the order of the items changes to alphabetical and there doesn't seem to be a way of going back to the original order of the items.

This didn't happen in V7.

Does anyone know how to stop it from happening?

I'm not sure you can stop this. It's the result of a change to the way order items are handled.

Thanks so much for the reply and link Mike.

I'll try to remember to open the order before printing the picking list so that it will already be in alphabetical order when I print it.
