Actinic Closes Whilst Uploading

I want to try something but don't know how to do it.

my products are in individual sections
is there any fast way to remove the individual sub catagories
and replace them with product contained inside them.

There's a few catalog sorting tools around to do this. I think Mole End's 'Catalog Sorting Tool' is designed to do this sort of stuff

After a hard weekend of creating flat files and importing.

I am no longer experiencing the issue.

From what i could summize i had over 7000 sections with just over 6000 items
the sections had upto five layers.

I believe that this issue was caused because of actinic having to check 5 parent sections for every item.

Since then i have managed to drop 6000 sections and no longer experience any issues.
