    Error opening the index '../docs/acatalog/stock.fil'. No such file or directory

    After atempting to upgrade from Actinic V9 to v10 (which had a problem with the checkout). I'm trying to restore the previous version from a snapshot but now it's showing the following error message in the checkout;

    Error: Error opening the index '../docs/acatalog/stock.fil'. No such file or directory.

    Does anyone know what the problem might be or how to restore the stock.fil file?

    Thanks!!

    Have you tried compacting the database and then doing a site refresh?

      I just tried that and it's still showing the same error.

      Error: Error opening the index '../docs/acatalog/stock.fil'. No such file or directory. The web site is probably being updated.

      It's like the stock.fil file is missing or something?

        Sounds like a antivirus/firewall software problem. Are you using eset? I had this problem when I switched to eset. Try adding your actinic folders (from both program files and my documents) to the exclusions list.

          after another site refresh this does seem to have cleared the original problem so I have just managed to put through a test order but now when I 'Retrive Orders' Im getting the following error;

          "The order detail blob has an invalid magic number. The blob is corrupt. Either the encryption/decryption did not work properly, or the blob itself was corrupted during the network transfer."

          Any ideas of how this can be fixed?
