Have been having a problem where Actinic tries to reload all our Digital Download files - even though they haven't changed.
Support suggested checking time and dates were same on local machine and server - and yes local machine seemed to have jumped ahead into May. So reset that back to the right date and time (and same as server) but it still wants to reload the entire lot (over 3 gigs of them.)
Problem we have now is that we only seem to be able to upload in 30 mins or so intervals before we get the dreaded "the connection with the server was reset". This may be to do with the set "timeout" on the server - I'm trying to find out from Fasthosts if there is a timeout limit set? Basically I presume that if there is a pause in the file being uploaded for whatever reason then Fasthosts (our server) might close the connection because of inactivity?
Actinic support also suggested that mole-end.biz might have a plugin that would keep the uploading going - i.e ignore the error message and try again. (automatically). When you're trying to upload 3 gigs of digital download files it can get pretty tiresome having to reset the thing every 30 mins. You feel your life slipping away!
Any suggestion most welcome!
