    Apologies

I'm really sorry, it came up on a search I did for "product" "crash" "v8".
    My mistake.
    Danny.

Can you restore from a previous snapshot as this is probably caused by some recent change you've made.

I can, I have to uninstall, then reinstall actinic, then import an old snapshot.

But as soon as I try to make any change to my catalog, i.e. right-click > "New Section|Sub-Section|Product" I either get a C++ runtime error and Actinic closes down and needs un/reinstalling.

Or, it works briefly and then next time I try to export a snapshot, crash!

I zipped the catalog file and sent to Actinic Support, they compacted and repaired it with no success!

Basically at a loss! By the way, many thanks for the quick responses!

If it came back from support and they siad it worked for them thne it must be due to your installation.

What specfic version are you running and what OS?

No, actually they said it didn't work for them but try it anyway!
And they also they were unable to generate a snapshot from the database I sent!

Is Actinic always this frustrating? I'm new to it, but it seems like a nightmare!

Hello Danny, I understand this is now fixed. Is that correct?
