In Firebug, it clears all content (white background) and displays only a 0 when i place the code where the working one is. Still fiddlin though.
    Thanks!!

Where the webpage should be. All dissapears in the preview window in FF when i apply the code to the bottom of the page where the other code. Just a 0 is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.
      Thanks!!

      Bob

Have you been changing with the code again? After 4 fixes you still don't have it right. Now you've got a missing </span> and the clear is in the wrong place again.

LOL Louise, patience of a Saint, you must be bonkers. Why even do this on a forum, there is only you two talking and by jove there certainly is no other person on the planet who this thread is ever gonna help.

In fact Bob, write a list of what you want done and send me a snapshot and i will do it for you, i just can't watch this any more, it's like a horror story but you have to watch.

Evening Lee. Well someone has to do it. For poor Bob it seems the same coding issues keep coming back.

Well i'd certainly agree that he needs help and i think you are so far in now, it's hard to get back out, but geez i think none of the other 7,000 members of this forum could illustrate the patience you have - quite incredible, you must be a little angel. It's no wonder he loves you, can't believe his luck i expect.

It's a fine line at times but very similar to the other guy wanting to learn things, they are not actually learning anything, they are having it done for them. With that in mind it's either leave em to it or do it for them IMO, anything else is surely just a waste of time?

When you say poor Bob, i actually agree, the guy is obviously trying very hard and just can't crack it. It's a shame to see that, especially as he is trying so hard, but Bob needs to hold his hands up and admit he simply cannot do this, his knowledge has not progressed at all. If he had contacted you, i'm sure you'd have solved it in 10 minutes flat, surely that is the sensible course of action now, the poor guy must have aged 10 years in this thread alone.

He gave us such a positive vibe yesterday too, i could feel half the forum breathe out a sigh of relief for him - poor sod.

                        Yea, Poor bob.

I see the issues in DW but the submit changes in P_index is not lit in DW. There are various tags in DW highlighted in yellow but i tried to find them in actinic, but i cant.

                        </SPAN ACT> I cannot find in actinic.

                        Thankyou all for your help.

                        Lee,
