Hmmm... I can connect to that IP by simply putting ftp:81.29.88.121 into Firefox's address bar and hitting return. Get a username / password prompt back. Try that at your end. If that doesn't work for you then you have some sort of network connectivity problem, rather than one at Actinics end.

Hi Norman, how do I get a username / password prompt?

The username password prompt appears automatically if you put in the address exactly as Norman put in his post. If you're not getting this, then the problem's at your end.
I'd check your firewall settings as well.

Any ideas as to what the problem might be my end, actinic is the only thing I can't connect to ie my website, orders and emails.

I wasn't suggesting you change the password. I was wondering if you had changed the ftp password previously but hadn't changed it in network settings.

When you say you changed the password on Plesk do you mean the Plesk login password or the ftp password?

If you have access to the Plesk panel then can't you perhaps create another FTP account with a new username and password and then try that.

Although it sounds like you may have some firewall or ISP issues.

PM me your FTP username and password and I'll see if I can connect.

Click on your domain in the Plesk control panel then look for the 'Setup' icon - you can change the ftp password there

Obviously you need to change it within Actinic as well.

The username and/or password you sent are incorrect.

I suggest you change the FTP password and try again.
