        Hi Jo,

I'm getting the same 'Error - wrong format' when I try to register my site. Any ideas?

        Regards,
        Susan.

This idea is great !! - but I too get the same error. I wondered if it might be because I was selecting 2 categories, but reducing it to 1 has the same results.

I'm looking at the wrong format error, (thanks to those who sent the screenshots) although it is puzzling as it doesn't happen to everyone.

I've turned off moderation for the time being all links will be added automatically, if anyone sees a non actinic site let me know.

I've reduced the number of categories you can submit to to 2.

I want to keep the number of categories under control, so will be fiddling with these.

I've changed the Sport category to Leisure

              Hi Jo,

I had no problems adding my site. However, think I may have messed up my link to the banner. Can not modify this without registering and when I try to register it says closed to new registrations?

How can I change the link.

              Thanks,

              Dave

                    Just added sites fine.
Is there a way that they can be modified as time goes on, or mistakes corrected?

Yep modification can be done by registered users.

                      So I'll activate this feature.

Try again G11ary, as others have already signed up. So it seems to work ok.

I have removed your 3 sites, you will need to add them again under your registration in order to be able to modify them in the future

This seems like too much work. I think I will just continue building my text link directory on http://www.egyptianwonders.co.uk/aca...opactinic.html - I have been building this over time, and have about 400 sites identified to add. But I'm doing it manually, in between everything else.

have tried another couple of times, it wont let you reg until filled in site details, then get error, so then click reg once site is on and then get could not reg appear after you submit reg details.

I've just created a new account for myself, and then added a link to a new site. You have to wait for the activation email before you can modify.

I wonder if your security is to tight on your PC.

William - i suggest you keep an eye on this and come in at a later date when the development is complete. As you are aware this project is in its very early days, I am using the forum to get it tested and developed at the same time - hence all the dirty laundry is in public.

I wouldn't have taken this on if it were a manual directory. I hope once we have the wrinkles ironned out it will be self administering
