So they failed on a simple task of renewing your SSL certificate for 4 years on the trot and you still choose to use them?

Is it any wonder that they don't improve, they don't need to because you stay with them whatever they do. If a company is that poor and is very bad when things go wrong, i think you are the one in the wrong for staying with them. If their service doesn't meet the standards you desire, vote with your feet for heavens sake.

If its as bad as you say it is (it obviously isn't and you are just peed off currently) what the hell are you still doing giving them money for a shoddy service. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh!

You said yourself that its very easy to move hosts, take some of your own medicine. It never ceases to astonish me, how people who are very unhappy with something, just accept it and choose to moan about it for ten minutes, rather than spend 10 minutes finding someone better.

Sorry post should have said that it's NOT very easy to change.

I am moving to technoweb, the reason for the delay in changing is simple.

1) While its working there is less urgency in moving
2) To try technoweb in the meantime so that I'm not going from the frying pan into the fire.

Finding a new hosting company maybe a 10 minutes job, however moving ones site is not!

If you want to move my site, scripts, actinic etc in 10 mins then you've got a job

10.30am Saturday 2nd and all seems to be stable with CLARA at the moment (starting to sound like the shipping forecast)

Last week - mornings and evenings were fine.

Flash points (reporting either 'virtual host not found' or really slow pages) were 12 noon to 5pm.

Supposed to be fixed by Friday night, so lets hope next week shows positive results.

Our Nov stats show bandwidth down around 15% over the month!

26th and 27th showed a marked dip in unique views. Bandwidth was up 2gb but this is a much busier month for me.

Not had the virual host message for a couple of days now so hoping that has sorted itself out

Having struggled to stop people buying CLARA have managed to do this for me (without asking) with the reappearance of "Virtual host not found on this server" .... first time pleased to see the site not available

Had problems with clara for the last three weeks, I think that it's finally sorted now though.

We've had a few duplicate orders the last couple of weeks, much more so than normal, just wondered if anyone else hosted by Clara is suffering slooooower than normal checkouts etc?

Yup, a few more duplicates than normal, plus our first ever 'ghost' order (full order details but completely empty customer details - believe this is only possible on creaky old V5 though )

Thought George had but the Kaybosh on my site ... just received 2 orders from the same person and delivered to same alternate address .. but upon closer inpsection identical order but to a different recipient. Phew.
