Suddenly Sellerdeck 18.0.6 hangs on startup trying to download orders?

I am hoping someone might be able to advise me.

Our site (www.SecretGardenQuilting.co.uk) has been stable for a very long time. The only things we do is add and delete products. I moved from 18.0.5 to 18.0.6 last month. Seemed to work without any issues over the last 4 weeks.

Last night when starting sellerdeck I found it was hanging. The SD splash screen is visible but you can also see the sellerdeck main window. It says in the bottom right status bar "downloading orders". It does get passed this step.

I need to use task manager to kill the sellerdeck process.

If I disable internet access on the PC then sellerdeck fully opens.

I have checked with my hosting provider. They report no issues.

I have tried sellerdeck on our back up PC and it has the same behaviour (18.0.6 with the snapshot from the production system).

We have 1 outstanding order on the server waiting to be downloaded.

Looking at the server logs I can see the following entry repeated hunderds of times (a few times per second) : 2023-08-25 14:09:25 Access 82.25.37.30 200 POST /cgi-bin/nq000042.pl HTTP/1.0 Catalog 964 Apache SSL/TLS access

Any ideas of what I can do to recover or get passed this issue. It looks like you cant refresh the website without 1st downloading orders

    Many thanks Tony

As a short term measure you could rename the .ord (order) and .occ (payment) files to something else. Maybe just change the extensions to .ordx and .occx for example. That should hide them from the scripts.

      Hi Mike,

Thank you. Sorry to be dumb. I have not done this before. Where would I find these files on the server?

Update : I found the payment file in acatalog. However no order file. I wonder if that is the issue?

      Many thanks

Renaming the payment file cleared the error. I guess it could be that there was a pyment with no order file.

I will refresh the website and try to place an order.

        Thanks again

On trying a new order I am getting "the payment service provider authorisation on <order num> had an invalid signature". I have never see this before. Has anyone else got this area and can help diagnose?

          Many thanks

            Hi Tony,

I had wondered if something like this might be happening.

I know Sarah1203 has been having similar problems with WorldPay on V16.

See a bit down the thread here: https://community.sellerdeck.com/for...ayment-details
