Stock not updating with components

I patched to HFUA..no problems.
Uploaded site..everything fine.
Applied the 8.5.1 patch in your last post..gave me exactly the same error as before when confirming adding ANYTHING to the cart (just as it did before)

I also tried with the files sent to me from support, with the same result.
(I've had to change the site back with original files, btw)
