OK, so I've managed to get my duplicates imported and image and text links working (through the cgi-bin unfortunately, but I can't be chewed to hard-code 6000 items). Now all I want to do is arrange the thumbnails in a more condensed layout. Which template do I need to alter to acheive a three-column layout as opposed to the single column I currently have?
Sorry I can't post a link to show the new design, but I haven't uploaded it yet.

    Edit:

This is wierd:- My text links have reverted back to the text [LINK] rather than a hyperlink. What's strange is that if I manually enter any characters in the description box, the link comes back. It seems that importing a description of "[LINK]" via csv file results in just the text but if I manually alter the description in any way, the link is back
Image links are still OK BTW

You will just need to follow the instructions for multi column products - ie, replace the Act_ProductBody and set the CUSTOMVAR:NUMCOLS, then add the column code into your product line templates

Thanks Bill but I'm going to have to put the layout on hold until I can get the text links issue solved.

When I try to open www.sharedpleasure.com all I get is a blank screen! I want to see what I'm missing.

I've attached a copy of my Act_Productline.html (although it's called Act_Prod_Dup.html). I would be extremely grateful if someone could have a look at it and tell me what I've done wrong. It may be a bit messy as I've been fiddling with it all evening

Problem solved, or rather worked around, thanks to Norman's help in another thread. Now to try editing the layout.

Just spent a lovely weekend messing about with Actinic templates (I know how to have a good time), and got my layout in columns, duplicate products linking to main products. It all looks rather neat but there's one more thing I'd like to change ie. I want the duplicate items to utilise more of the available space on the page. Currently the three columns only seem to take up around 60% of the width of the main body (I use the smart theme), and I'd like them to use more like 90% in the same way that the section links would. Which template would I need to alter to acheive this and how?
Sorry if this isn't the clearest of questions.

I think 'Act_ProductBody.html' is the one you want to edit. Look in the <table> tag just above where it says NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTBULK.

That's spot on Chris, thanks. One final fly in the ointment; when I copy and paste as duplicate an item which has choices associated with it, the choices are also carried over and result in the entire product inc.full description being displayed rather than the cut-down version I use for the duplicate. This cocks up my lovely, neat layout which I've been working on all weekend
                    Edit: Forget that; it's sorted.
