A quick update - tried again with HSBC this pm re Creditcall/AP. Got a bit further this time - I hope.
A certain Rashid (no surname) told me I needed a new merchant number to associate with CreditCall ... not sure why as the same one is used for EPayments and Protx and that hasn't been a problem at all.
Anyway, apparently he has logged it as a new lead (dontcha just love it when they start on the old sales talk) and I should get an "offer" in 48 hours. Hmm.
Not prepared to pay HSBC another penny tbh so the offer had better be good.
Knowing my luck they will delete my existing merchant account details and I'll be left with nothing.
