wait a month or so once your trial ends, and they should email you with a cheaper offer, which roughly matches LogMeIn's £60pa .
Yep, this is what they offered me and for a fiver a month, I think gotomypc is excellent. I use it all the time as I spend a lot of time up a Swiss mountain (with free wifi). Mind you, it doesn't half spook the girls in the office when I start snooping on what they're doing. It's prevented a load of hassle as it enables me to intercept their mistakes ...
Email this morning telling me that my trial has expired, how apt. With the sun blaring in from all angles, I now have two options from which to choose my next step:
Pay the full price now, so I can work on the hammock today as originally planned.
Do no more work til i get my special offer or i fancy being couped up in an office.
Back garden looks like a battlefield, halfway through a redesign, not a great surface at the moment, so we are currently using the front lawn to play instead. Having said that, he's not the best at standing up unless holding something.
Extension cables at B&Q .... if you want to work on the hammock you have to think laterally ... c'mon Lee ... you are used to that being an Actinic expert
LOL let me clarify for you pair of numpties. I work on a desktop in my office usually, when I want to sit elsewhere, i use my laptop and connect via WIFI through to the desktop using GOTOMYPC. This way all of my software and emails etc and are in same place, even though I am not.
IF i cannot use GOTOMYPC as my trial is up, i either take the desktop down onto the hammock and plug it in via an extension cable - Jonty i will presume you got confused offering this idea, or i take Jo's suggestion and take my desktop down onto the hammock and connect to my network via WIFI - equally as mad.
However, the sun has gone in for a while, so i will stay here for the time being. 29 days to go til Martin's offer surfaces.
